Steiner | Douglas Construction, Inc. served as the general contractor for this newly completed 79-unit affordable housing development located at 7524 S. Hoover Street in South Los Angeles. Designed to provide much-needed workforce and affordable housing, the five-story project features a unit mix of studio and one-bedroom apartments, several of which are reserved for low- and moderate-income households under the City’s TOC Tier 3 program.

The scope of work included full site development, utility coordination, and the ground-up construction of a Type IIIA. The development includes secure long- and short-term bicycle parking, ground-floor common areas, accessible units, and a rooftop landscaped open space to enhance resident experience. The site is located near major transit corridors and community amenities, offering convenient access to employment, healthcare, and education.
